Substance abuse treatment facilities in Orange County, CA have seen an increase in overdoses every year since 2000. A study done with cooperation from the
Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Division found a 51% increase in overdose deaths between the years 2000 and 2012. Cities along the coast, like Huntington Beach, CA
had higher rates of overdose deaths.
